Partnership enables Cat-6 to offer its customers cutting edge PTX technology developed by Mobile Tornado.

Mobile Tornado is to strengthen its presence in the United States through a new reseller partnership with Cat-6, a provider of emergency management services. The partnership enables Cat-6 to offer its customers cutting edge PTX technology developed by Mobile Tornado.

During recent wildfires in New Mexico, Cat-6 teamed up with Red Staffing, an emergency management business that specializes in providing temporary power during storm and natural disaster. Deploying the Cat-6 technology, powered by Mobile Tornado, as their nerve centre for voice communication and real-time team tracking, Red Staffing was able to hit the ground running.

Since then, the system has also been deployed in hurricane responses in Houston, Florida, Puerto Rico, and beyond.

Guy Kennett, CEO at Cat-6 said:

“When disasters strike, communication is lifesaving. In the world of emergency management, the right tools can mean the difference between tragedy and triumph so we simply cannot afford to take any chances with our critical communications. This is why we chose Mobile Tornado. Their PTX application is outstanding. It has proven, time and time again, that it can outperform a cell phone or a traditional radio when lives are on the line.”

James Howard, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Mobile Tornado said

“We are delighted to be working with Cat-6 and expanding our presence across the US. They are clearly committed to providing their customers with world-class communication solutions. Mobile Tornado provides a 99.999% uptime service level agreement with an automatic failover and geo redundant platform, making our PTX the most reliable, resilient platform on the market. We can’t wait to introduce our technology to Cat-6 customers and play a crucial role in keeping people across the US safer.”
