Sepura launches apprenticeship scheme

Sepura is very pleased to announce the launch of a brand new apprenticeship scheme, which is designed to help develop talent for the future. The scheme, which will welcome its first apprentices in January 2013, is a key part of Sepura's commitment to invest both in the growth of the business as a whole and also in the people that it needs to help secure that growth.
The Sepura Apprenticeship Programme is being run in association with Cambridge Regional College (CRC) and is focussed on training apprentice engineers in a variety of roles within the Product Development function. The selected apprentices will spend four days per week at Sepura's Cambridge headquarters, with the emphasis on gaining practical experience. They will also spend one day per week studying at CRC, consolidating this experience with the theory and knowledge which are also key aspects of an engineer's role.
The chosen apprentices will benefit from this combination of learning opportunities within the context of one of the world's leading players in the TETRA digital radio communications market. Sepura will also profit by the addition of fresh ideas and approaches that the apprentices will bring, thus helping to build a sustainable skilled workforce for the future.
