PMRExpo Cologne introduces 3 new forums

At the exhibition this year from the 25th until the 27th November you can once again expect a wide-ranging event with a combination of proven formats, current and future-oriented content, new event elements and a diverse trade fair.

The range of topics of the two-day PMR Conference, previously known as Colloquium, will include digital radio for public safety authorities (police, fire and rescue services), communication requirements for the energy industry, the protection of critical infrastructures and networked security in disaster management. In addition, future technological developments such as shared networks and broadband will be evaluated and discussed.

The Congress on Command and Control Centres will thematically link the present state of control centres with developments that will shape the image in the future. The lectures will focus on the large cooperative control centre in Oldenburg, digital radio integration through the Digital Radio Gateway Interface, and liability issues. Furthermore, they will involve mobile computing and professional operation through social media in control centres and situation rooms, which are becoming increasingly important.

At booth B 18 next to the boulevard, there will be opportunities to listen to and participate in discussions between experts, users and suppliers in specialised forums within the trade fair. Alongside the proven International BOS forum, the industry forum, the specialist trade forum and the indoor radio forum are all new to the programme. In addition, the exhibitors will hold lectures, all of which can be attended with your exhibition ticket.
