Rohill to Win Transport Project in The Netherlands
The combination of Rohill and SAIT has won the tender for the replacement of the current MPT1327 radiocommunication system of the Rotterdam public transport company RET.
The new TETRA mobile radio system needs to be completed in the third quarter of 2016. The system also needs to be future-proof and expandable. It involves the design, construction and testing and the migration to the new mobile radio system, where high availability, sufficient capacity and security are guaranteed.
In addition, there must be optimal radio coverage. The deliverables includes the supply and preparation of portable and mobiel radios and installation of mobile radio in the RET vehicles such as bus, tram and metro.
