The seminar is a part of Nedaa commitment to foster public safety standards in private sector.

As part of its efforts to disseminate the culture of occupational health and safety and hazard prevention, Nedaa Professional Communication Corporation, a trusted and reliable choice in the field of wireless communication supply in Dubai, held recently two introductory seminars in both Arabic and English, covering the significance of using modern telecommunication devices, public safety products and disaster mitigation at the private sector, especially hotel and real estate sectors.

The two-day seminars, held at Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai, were attended by senior managers and employees of public safety departments at hotels and property developers. Holding these seminars, Nedaa aimed to introduce the need for safety and security solutions and modern telecommunication devices at the private sector facilities to promote OHS (Occupational safety and health) standards. It also aimed to demonstrate the mechanisms that enable safety and security sections to improve OHS conditions inside the facilities.

"Occupational health and safety is an important business standard and requirement. A safe work environment is a key goal for the parties involved in the production process, as it has a great significance for the interests of all parties. Compliance with OHS standards and requirements will be of great benefit for the society and can contribute to the economic and social development. It also can reduce direct and indirect costs of incidents, relieve the burden of medical services and protect the national economy. Therefore, OHS and hazard prevention state-of-the-art solutions will contribute to achieve these goals and ensure, promote and provide safe and healthy workplaces through risk assessment and application of appropriate controls. Such events will raise awareness about the need for having best security and safety standards in place at the time of disasters", said Mansoor Juma Bu Osaiba, Deputy Chief Executive Director, Nedaa

The two seminars included a presentation through which Nedaa showcased its services, focusing mainly on Tetra, a system of digital network serving wireless private mobile radio networks. The presentation compared the digital to traditional radio communication systems and explained how to create contact groups for Tetra subscribers. Indicating an increasing number of subscribers, Nedaa also demonstrated its services including device programming, 4G network, control room, vehicle tracking system, mobile station among others.

The seminars were concluded with an open discussion for Nedaa partners and the attendees. During the discussion, important experiences and opinions were shared with Nedaa partners demonstrating their product portfolio and trying the devices before the audience in order to attract new customers and boost their presence at the region markets in general and the UAE in particular.
