Source: MCCResources

The collaboration started in 2006 when Swedish police selected Swedish Radio Supply (SRS) and Sepura as the terminal supplier.

The Swedish Police have now chosen to continue working with SRS for the next 2 years, with an option to extend the agreement for another two years.

In the new agreement, the police have the opportunity to buy new handheld terminals from Sepura such as the SRH3900, STP9000, STP8X and the Sepura SRG3900 gateway terminal for fixed installation. In addition, the Swedish Police will purchase are a large variety of accessories.

Beyond that, Swedish Radio Supply will also deliver components.

"We have been working with Police since the start of Rakel (The Swedish TETRA Pubic Safety radio network) in 2006 and the fact that they choose Swedish Radio Supply as well as Sepura feels fantastic. It is a confirmation that our effort has worked well and that we have delivered a good result over the years. We look forward to continue working with the Swedish Police to further develop their communications over the coming years", says Jonas Hoke, Key Account Manager at Swedish Radio Supply.
