VINCI Energies Belgium acquires AEG TranzCom
On July 1st 2015, VINCI Energies Belgium acquired the company AEG Belgium NV (AEG TranzCom), located in Anderlecht.
AEG Belgium NV (AEG TranzCom), based in Anderlecht, and with offices in France and the Netherlands, was founded in 1996 after an LMBO of AEG. AEG TranzCom is a provider of solutions in telecommunications, as well as a system provider for low and medium voltage. With over 100 employees working in the departments 'Telecommunication' and 'Energy Distribution', the company achieves a turnover of €39 million.
"The extensive expertise of AEG TranzCom, and the technical know-how and the international nature of VINCI Energies offer us many opportunities for development," explain Vincent Pirson and Alain Margerin, the current shareholders who will continue to ensure the company's management as General Managers.
Based on its combined expertise, VINCI Energies Belgium aims to build lasting relationships with its customers and being an innovative and reliable partner in the areas where the group is already active.
"AEG TranzCom is active in the same sectors as we are, but with complementary solutions. This acquisition allows us to expand our technical expertise and thus add value in the telecommunications and energy sector, "says Frederic Mayné, General Manager of the division Infra of VINCI Energies Belgium.
AEG Belgium SA will continue to operate as a separate and autonomous company within our division Infra.
