The Motorola Public Safety Survey, now in its fifth year, has become an invaluable reference on the trends and needs for communications technology for police, fire, emergency medical services and other public safety and government agencies.
In the 2014 Public Safety Survey, 70 percent of more than 1,300 surveyed said that getting data messages through was equal in importance to voice communications. In fact, interoperability, access to high-speed data in the field and the adoption of more data applications topped the list of agency priorities in last year’s edition of our annual survey.
