Sepura Showcase Cutting-Edge Accessories at CCW2016
At Critical Communications World 2016, Sepura is showcasing a range of accessories specially designed to enhance functionality.
The new console range - HBC3, a new handset-based colour console, and the SCC3, a new DIN-, handlebar- and marine-mountable colour console, extend the improved user experience of the flagship
SC20 hand-portable to the SRG3900, the world’s best-selling TETRA gateway.
Clear and user-friendly, the consoles boast a unique shortcut/notification bar to alert users to missed calls or messages, as well as major changes in the radio’s operational state. Like the SC20, the consoles feature three context keys, creating an intuitive user experience and helping to reduce training costs.
Also on show will be the IP67 sRSM – a robust and lightweight remote speaker microphone whose unique technology ensures superlative sound transmission and exceptional wet weather performance, making it ideal for use by a variety of sectors, including police and mining organisations.
In addition, Sepura is launching the STP/SC20 Basic Car Kit, featuring tough, metal construction and an extended DC input range (12-24V), allowing compatibility with a wider range of vehicles. It will also be unveiling a range of new STP/SC20 series chargers and TETRA/DMR modular earpieces with integrated PTT and microphone.
John Drewnicki, Accessories Product Manager for Sepura, commented: "The PMR accessories market has developed considerably in the last few years, with new products – and new suppliers – appearing all the time. This is great news for customers: competition fuels innovation, providing greater choice and creating an exciting and dynamic marketplace.”
Gary Aitkenhead, Vice President Devices, added: "We have a long history of innovative accessory development. These products demonstrate our continued commitment to the expansion of our portfolio and to the delivery of accessories of the highest quality to our customers.”
