American International Radio Wins the "Biggest Mototrbo Project" Award
With an order size of over 6000 DMR radios, American International Radio with the help of its local partner in Afghanistan has won the prestigious “Biggest Mototrbo Project” award.
American International Radio (AIR) has won yet another prestigious award from the global telecommunications giant Motorola Solutions EMEA. The award was presented to AIR Turkey at the Motorola Channel Power Conference Eastern Europe and Russia held from September 18th to 20th, 2012 in Italy and recognizes the company’s contribution in penetrating the strategic Afghanistan government market.
The combined order size of over 6000 DMR radios’s from public safety and other Afghan government agencies is the biggest in the EMEA region. AIR and AIR’s local partner in Afghanistan, TSC Ltd worked hard in selling the benefits of the superior DMR technology with various government agencies in the country.
“In a country that has become one of the flare points for regional and global security, it was important for the Afghanistan Ministry of Interior (MOI) to consider technology that has been tried and tested. We were confident from stage 1 that our DMR technology is far superior to any other products in the market today. We are also very appreciative of the great work done by our local partners TSC Ltd in Afghanistan,” commented Mr. Umur Koser, president of AIR Turkey.
