Tait Opens New Asia-Pacific HQ in Sydney
Tait staff were joined by a number of special guests to open its new Asia-Pacific headquarters in a special ceremony held in Sydney last week.
The group, including Tait customers, partners, media and invited guests attended a special ceremony led by Dean Brookes, Regional General Manager of Tait Asia-Pacific, and Llewellyn Roberts, the New Zealand Deputy High Commissioner to Australia. The new facility is set amongst other major international tech companies at Macquarie Park in Sydney’s North.
This new investment in Sydney expands Tait’s presence in the region alongside its existing regional sales and support centres in Brisbane, Melbourne and Singapore. Tait staff and customers in the region also benefit from the close proximity to the resources available from the global headquarters in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Dean Brookes says the new office is a great testament to Tait’s success in the region and plans for the future. “It’s terrific to have our valued customers and partners here to share this special occasion with us,” says Dean. “Our new Sydney headquarters will help reinforce our close relationships with customers and demonstrates our continued commitment to the Australian market – one of the most important for Tait globally.”
Llewellyn Roberts described Tait as a success story, taking New Zealand innovation to the world, reinforcing the strong ties between Australia and New Zealand and the many benefits of the closer economic relationship that both governments have been working towards.
Joining the Tait staff present at the event was Leanne Ramsay, a newly appointed Senior Account Director for Government and Utilities customers in Australia. Leanne brings extensive experience in telecom engineering, public safety and IT to her role at Tait, with particular emphasis on helping clients resolve business issues. She joins the team after recent experience at ILX Group and six years at Kordia Solutions.
