IHM to deliver radio communications system to Izmir Harbour
IHM, Denmark’s leading producer of solutions and equipment for tele- and radio communications, will deliver a communication system that allows communication between VHF and MF/HF as wells as Motorola Solutions MotoTRBO.
The system is to handle communication between: harbour authorities and vessels in coastal waters local of cials of the harbour (guards, inspectors, shipping employees etc.)
The maritime communication on water uses VHF and MF/HF, whereas communication on shore in the harbour uses MotoTRBO.
The IHM system is based on avanced technology, that allows connection of these types of radio communication, so that a vessel in coastal waters is able to talk to of cials on shore in the harbour.
The communication system will be put into operation at the end of 2016.
