JVCKENWOOD Corporation Announces Unified Exhibit and Product Branding at IWCE 2016
JVCKENWOOD Corporation will demonstrate its latest public safety and professional communications solutions in a unified exhibit (booth 1229) at the IWCE, to be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center March 23-24.
EFJohnson Technologies, Inc., the leader of P25 mission critical communications business for JVCKENWOOD Corporation, will integrate their display in the JVCKENWOOD booth this year and showcase its P25 mission critical solutions portfolio for public safety users. “As the combined strengths of our companies continue to develop, this is truly an exciting time for our customers. JVCKENWOOD can now offer even more choices in communications solutions and enhanced overall capabilities,” commented Mark Jasin, executive vice president, JVCKENWOOD USA Corporation. “We’re looking forward to an excellent IWCE 2016 and invite everyone to join us in booth 1229.”
To further this integration strategy, JVCKENWOOD is announcing the sub-branding of EFJohnson Viking® radios to the KENWOOD communications brand. “After moving our manufacturing operations to JVCKENWOOD’s headquarters in Japan, it is a natural progression to consolidate all radios under the KENWOOD brand. Unifying EFJohnson’s P25 portfolio under a single KENWOOD brand signifies the combination of two strengths – EFJohnson’s proven P25 design expertise and KENWOOD’s recognized quality and reliability,” explains Karthik Rangarajan, senior vice president of strategy and products.”
This year’s JVCKENWOOD exhibit will highlight integrated multi-protocol products designed to enhance communication and simplify day-to-day operations for both mission critical and operations critical entities spanning a wide range of public safety agencies, public services and utilities, local government agencies, transportation and other business and industrial users:
- ATLAS® P25 Systems and KENWOOD P25 Radios
- NEXEDGE® Gen2 Systems and Multi-band Configuration
- KENWOOD DMR Tier II Radios and Repeater
- Full Featured and Tablet-based Consoles with CSS (also in Zetron booth 1429)
