Zetron, its president, and employees are donating $7,455 to the American Red Cross in support of the agency’s efforts to assist those affected by the wildfires in Central and Eastern Washington.

Zetro is donating $7,455 to the American Red Cross to aid those fighting and affected by wildfires in Central and Eastern Washington. The contribution includes donations from Zetron employees and matching funds from the company and Zetron president and CEO, Ellen O’Hara.

“We extend our deepest sympathies to all of those who have been affected by these wildfires,” said O’Hara. “We sincerely hope our contributions can be of help and support to those fighting the fires and assisting with relief efforts, as well as those who have suffered losses as a result of the fires.”

According to the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, Idaho, 16 active fires in Washington State have charred more than 900,000 acres, an area larger than Rhode Island. As of this writing, the fires continue, but have slowed considerably due to the cooler weather and rain showers that have moved into the region.
