RapidDeploy announces new sales organization and leadership

RapidDeploy announced that the company has expanded its account management team to better serve the needs of their customers in order to support the momentum of the company. Jack Westerlund has joined the Rapid Deploy leadership team in Austin, TX as Director of Sales, leading the RapidDeploy sales organization and managing the sales life cycle, including prospecting, pitching and closing new business. Jack joins RapidDeploy from Microsoft, where he held a variety of roles in Microsoft’s State & Local Government group including Account Executive, Managing Consultant and Regional Sales Director.

In addition to Jack;s appointment, Jon (Sammy) Samuelson will lead the newly established Commercial Operations team. Samuelson has been with RapidDeploy since 2018 and has been an integral part of the success and growth of the company. He now moves into the role of Director of Commercial Operations, overseeing Sales Operations, Contract Negotiation and Pricing, Proposal Response and Bid Management and Pre-Sales.
