AntennaPro Introduces the CXL 450-5C Colinear and Marine Antenna for the 450 MHz Band

AntennaPro introduced a new low PIM vertically polarized antenna. The CXL 450-5C covers the 380-470 MHz band in 4 versions with a PIM specification of -150 dBc (3rd order, 2 x Tx @ 43 dBm).

This 5dBd Colinear Base Station Marine Antenna is suitable for applications where multiple PMR/DMR channels are in use, to prevent interference from passive intermodulation (PIM). The antenna is the perfect candidate for a mid-tier colinear, where there are limitations on weight, or the impact of the environment is not so severe.

The CXL 450-5C is provided with Amphenol Procom’s “C” universal mounting bracket made of epoxy-coated, seawater resistant aluminium which can be mounted on 27 to 65 mm diameter mast tubes. The carefully designed radiating element is sealed in a high-quality, glass fibre tube with low wind-load, which ensures performance is undisturbed by corrosive environments.
