GCF Convenes in Malaga for Final Meetings of 2024
The Global Certification Forum (GCF) is excited to welcome its members and partners to an eventful week of collaboration and innovation as it hosts the 101st Steering Group Meeting and 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) from December 10–12, 2024.
This year’s final gathering takes place in the vibrant city of Malaga, Spain, and promises an action-packed agenda. Preceding the main meetings, the event kicks off with a dedicated Mission Critical Services (MCS) Seminar on December 9. This seminar provides GCF members with hands-on insights into the latest advancements in the MCX Certification Programme and highlights key topics from the Mission Critical Services Work Stream (MCSWS).
Esteemed coaches, Asif Hamidullah (GCF) and Harald Ludwig (TCCA), will lead these enlightening discussions.
In a post on Social Media GCF extends its heartfelt appreciation to DEKRA, the gracious host of this year’s meetings. Special thanks go to Thomas Jäger and Mariló Bellido for their outstanding support in organizing the event. In partnership with Vodafone, DEKRA will also present a C-V2X demonstration on December 10, showcasing selected use cases to enhance the safety of Vulnerable Road Users (VRUs). The demonstration will be followed by a networking event, offering participants a chance to engage and exchange ideas.
“This week promises to be a dynamic conclusion to a remarkable year for GCF,” said a GCF spokesperson. “We’re thrilled to bring our community together to discuss key initiatives and advancements that shape the future of our industry.”
With a packed schedule of collaborative sessions, innovative demonstrations, and networking opportunities, GCF’s final meeting of 2024 underscores its commitment to driving progress and fostering global partnerships.
