Microbus has been supplying specialist PC technology to worldwide users for nearly 30 years and for the last 10 years has been considered the pre-eminent supplier of vehicle-based PC technology.
Over 10,000 Microbus vehicle-based PCs are in daily use within all three Emergency Services globally, and with an additional several thousand units in UK black cab taxis, national bus fleets and specialist vehicle fleets.
High reliability and minimal whole-life costs are vital to the service and quality achieved by the emergency services and public transport markets. The quality and high functionality of our products is based on our long established supply of embedded PC technology to sectors requiring high reliability such as military, telecoms, medical and process control markets.
Microbus is an ISO9001 certified company whose products are built and tested to the highest standards. Microbus only uses PC boards that are designed and manufactured in-house. All our computer products are independently tested and certified to meet the European legal requirement of e mark, the UN´s E mark and the UK Police Information Technology Organisation's AES5 Specification 10, Class 1 certification. Full support is provided by our technical support team located at our headquarters in Buckinghamshire.
