Day Wireless Systems, a leading communications and public safety technology integrator in the U.S., announced the appointment of Lane Falkner as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective July 18, 2024.  Former CEO Mackenzie Day will be a Board Member and take on a special advisory role for the Board of Directors of Day Management Corporation and Cascade Utilities Corporation.  Lane Falkner had previously held the position as Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Day Wireless Systems.

Mackenzie Day sees the company is in good hands for the future and is excited about the direction and growth under Lane’s leadership.

“First and foremost, Day Wireless will remain a family owned and operated business.  The employees here are all part of our family. This change will create more structure between the Executive Team and the Board of Directors.  We are all looking forward to this change and confident this is the best move for all stakeholders.”

Lane Falkner has a long history with the company, starting with the Tower Construction team, then the Systems Division, working with Gordon Day, and to the COO position, overseeing all operations.

“I’ve been fortunate to work with a lot of great people. We’ve all spent a lot of time over the years with Gordon Day. That makes an impact. The family nature of this business is the foundation of what we do.” said Falkner. “Over the years Mackenzie and I have worked very closely together and share a lot of the same vision about values, company operations, goals, and growth, I am excited for this opportunity and can’t wait to continue working with her, the Day family, our Team, and the Board in this larger role.”
