Danish Government Moves Centre of Emergency Communication Transferred to New Ministry for Social Security and Preparedness

Centre of Emergency Communication (CFB), part of the Danish National Police with the main responsibility to secure operation and development of the nationwide emergency radio network, called SINE (Safety Network) announced that it has made an organizational change. 

On 29 August 2024, the Danish government established a new Ministry for Social Security and Emergency Preparedness.

The new ministry will, among other things, departmental responsibility for matters concerning the emergency centers and the SINE system, and thus the Center for Emergency Communications (CFB) has been transferred to the new ministry.
