FREQUENTIS Enhances Control Center Capabilities Through the Acquisition of a 51% Stake in the Italian Company Regola
Frequentis and Regola to fulfil market trend for comprehensive and integrated toolset to enhance emergency operator response
FREQUENTIS has announced that the company has expanded it's control centre capability with acquisition of 51% share of Italian company Regola.
Regola develops Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Public Warning System (PWS), and All-In-One mobile emergency application solutions that will increase Frequentis’ reach into Public Safety and adjacent markets.
“Frequentis has been looking to expand its public safety domain offering for quite some time, with Regola we have found clear attributes for a perfect fit. A fellow family-owned company, Regola shares our values and culture, and its products are of the most innovative on the market. This acquisition underlines our Mission “For a safer World” and brings us one step closer in meeting our vision to become the number one for safety-critical control centres globally. We are looking forward to reaching this goal with Regola,” says Norbert Haslacher, Frequentis CEO.
Regola, founded in 1995, is a family-owned company based in Turin, Italy, that has been successfully active, primarily in the Italian market, for more than 25-years. The company employs around 40 people; its main product is the Unique CAD product family accompanied with products offered as Software as a Service (nowtice as Public Warning System and FlagMii EML as All-In-One mobile emergency application). The company’s software solutions complement the Frequentis product portfolio, therefore supporting its long-term Public Safety growth strategy, which also aims at expanding the portfolio to include other vital elements of the Public Safety Control Room.
“For us, the owners of Regola, it was of utmost importance to find a well-recognised, innovative partner in the public safety domain with the same spirit in mind – securing the future of our current customers, caring for our employees, and bringing our safety-critical solutions to the global public safety community – in Frequentis we found the partner we were looking for,” says Bruno Belliero, Managing Director, Regola.
Regola will continue to be run as an independent company by the existing management leadership of Massimiliano Palma and will of course continue to support its current customers. The first joint appearance for the combined communication and CAD solution will be at the key Public Safety exhibition, BAPCO, 8-9 March 2022.
