The Future of Public Safety Broadband Communications in Norway - About Interworking, ISI & Interconnect

Many government organisations are currently struggling with the question: What's next after narrowband TETRA (or P25) technology? Simply moving from an established critical communications technology to another (that is not yet established) is not something you do overnight.
In my search on the available technological alternatives to TETRA (#narrowband) and taking in mind the hunger for broadband applications, I found that DSB in Norway is moving ahead with the implementation of a new Broadband communications system for their public safety end-user organisations (police, fire, ambulance and border control).
In my video interview with Michel Duits, who is the Technical lead at DSB for the Nødnett network, he talks about the importance of cross border communications (ISI) and the Convergence of TETRA to LTE ( the Interworking solution) where Tim Clark, Strategy Director at Motorola Solutions, emphasised the advantages of the Interconnect services, which has already proven to be a true valuable solution for a migration from narrowband to broadband.
