Ten – Fore! Motorola Solutions sponsors the Police Sport UK National Golf Team
Motorola Solutions has sponsored the Police Sport UK National Team, comprising ten golfers drawn from more than 120 police officers who took part in the 2014 National Championships.
The team, which includes officers from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, represents the Police in a series of inter-service matches, competing against the armed services and emergency services teams.
Simon Ives, Team Captain, Police Sport UK National Golf Team says: “This sponsorship enables us to play more competitively against professional teams at challenging venues throughout the UK. With a strong, motivated team, our goal is to take the challenge to fellow officers at international police golf championships.”
Graeme Hobbs, Chairman, Motorola Solutions UK, says: “Motorola Solutions has a well established partnership working with the UK Police to supply mission critical communications, but it is very nice to be able to extend that relationship beyond the beat and onto the golf course.
