New Operations Director for Rakel Public Safety TETRA network
Minna Nyman has become the new operations director for Rakel since 1 January 2015.
Nyman has served as Deputy Director for Rakel since 2011 and worked at the MSB since fall 2009. Prior to that, she worked at the Ministry of Defence.
In an interview with Minna Nyman, she said: "As Chief Operating Officer I'll am committed to the MSB's mission to develop and provide systems and services for communications for key players. This includes developing and managing the Rakel network and to; support secure communication between authorities and information sharing between crisis management teams.
Nyman is very much focused on the future of secure communications for critical communications end- users. She said that: "In an increasingly digitised world, this is also about offering broadband services that are robust, accessible and protected that meet the end users needs.
Nyman also mentioned that the key to success, is to have a good working relationship internally (with MSB) and with external stakeholders. She is looking forward to continue and to expand the good cooperation amongst the different departments.
