CHC Helikopter service chooses TETRA from 123 Communications AS
Already CHC has for several years been operating radio systems at their bases that until now only covered local traffic.
CHC is investing in radio system to communicate crystal clear and to communicate locally and between bases in Kristiansund, Bergen and Stavanger. CHC will now be able to save time and leverage resources more efficient.
Today it is very importent to plan airtime of a helicopter. Also the shortest possible turnaround time is important. Therefore, the new radio system a very important tool.
The new radio system will provide huge gains in terms of health & safety for the work environment as the Sepura Tetra terminals will be able to filter out most of the background noise. Threfore, any conversation, even when the user stands close by helicopter, can be heard clearly.
This means a less stressed working environment, and less risk that one perceives errors messages between different users.
