Hytera Closes Strategic Deal with Mustek in South Africa

Mustek, the largest assembler and supplier of personal computers in South Africa, has been appointed as an official distributor of Hytera Communications products.

The new partnership will open up Mustek’s  enhanced channel network, that is focused on personal computers and complementary ICT products. Mustek now offers a variety of networking solutions, to Hytera’s range of professional mobile radio communications solutions. This change will enable Mustek to enhance its offering of traditional ICT solutions with new state-of-the-art and digital radio solutions, strengthening its critical communications and safe city offering.

“We’re excited about the new prospects this distribution partnership presents. The diversification of our product portfolio will enable us to create a niche offering that will attract new market segments,” says Juan Paul Gough, solutions architect at Mustek.

On April 27 this year, Mustek celebrated its 30th anniversary. The company offers 30 product brands and employs about 530 people.
