SEE Telecom Enhances TETRA Radio Communications in Austria

In August 2016, SEE Telecom, a supplier of innovative technologies and solutions from Belgium, received the order for the delivery of a radio transmission system covering the Klammtunnel the Schönbergtunnel in Austria.

The services delivered by SEE Telecom was the retransmission of 2 channels FM and2 channels Tetra. The system currently consists of 1 Master Unit and 2 Remote Units for the Klammtunnel and 1 Master Unit and 3 Remote Units for the Schönbergtunnel.

The Klammtunnel has a length of 1600 m and 1 tube situated on the National Road B167 between Lend and Dorfgastein and the Schönbergtunnel has a length of 2938 m and 1 tube situated on the National Road B311 at Schwarzach.

The commissioning of the project was completed in September 2017.
