Hytera DMR Digital Solution Secures Defense & Security Expo 2012
To meet the security guards’ demands for efficient voice communication & dispatching and accurate GPS positioning on only one pair of frequency, Hytera provided them with a DMR digital communications solution.
From March 5 to 8, 2012, Defense & Security 2012, one of Asia's most important military and internal security events, was held at the Impact Hall, Bangkok, Thailand. Hytera offered DMR digital communications solution to the security guards of the exhibition and was present at the event with complete digital communications solutions.
With top government and military officers’ presence, security is of paramount importance to the event. The Armed Forces Security Center of Thailand formed a temporary security guard force to ensure the safety during the exhibition. To meet the security guards’ demands for efficient voice communication & dispatching and accurate GPS positioning on only one pair of frequency, Hytera provided them with a DMR digital communications solution, including PD788G portable radios, MD788G mobile radios and SmartDispatch system. Benefitted from TDMA two-slot technology, the DMR solution realizes simultaneous voice communication and GPS positioning with no interference to each other.

Wireless communication in exhibition halls has always been a difficulty as the steel & concrete structure imposes daunting barrier to signal transmission. Hytera DMR solution addressed this problem with advanced digital technology and innovated antenna design. The patented antenna design of Hytera DMR terminals integrates the radio and GPS antennas, enhancing signal reception. The excellent performance of Hytera DMR solution won high recognition from the security guards; officers of the security guard came to Hytera booth to extend their appreciation during the exhibition.
