Omnitronics DRG600i Provides greater Choice for Digital Radio Networking

Source: MCCResources

Built on the success of the DRG100, the DRG600i has been designed to meet the need to access multiple talk paths on Tier III (or Trunking) digital radios such as DMR and NXDN.

The DRG600i can access up to 6 simultaneous talk paths and share those talk paths amongst multiple dispatch consoles.

The DRG600i will connect to the radio infrastructure (repeater or controller) using Ethernet, and provides a secure, reliable and flexible gateway to the dispatch console IP network. The gateway forms a natural firewall between the two networks and provides an unsurpassed level of flexibility for integration into the customer’s IP infrastructure.

John Florenca, Omnitronics’ CEO, said “The addition of the DRG600i to Omnitronics’ range of gateways now provides organizations with even more choice and flexibility in their radio networks whilst addressing the unique needs of trunking applications.”

Although the DRG600i is ideally suited to Tier III Trunking applications, it can also be used to provide multiā€channel access to Tier II systems.
