Hytera Supports Round Table Family Flea Market with PMR446

To help coordinate the event, Hytera provided the Round Table members with Power446 license-free radios

Every year before the main summer vacation period, the Round Table 111 service club hosts a family flea market in the town of Springe am Deister near Hanover. At the flea market, which is being held for the 29th time this year, children and adults can sell their old toys, clothes or books in order to top up their pocket money or vacation fund.

With over 30 market stalls including their own sausage stall and their own stall selling delicious home baking, not to mention several thousand guests, the ten members of Round Table 111 Springe had plenty to do. To help coordinate the event, Hytera provided the Round Table members with Power446 license-free radios. "The radios were really helpful", explains Vincze Szabo, President of Round Table 111 Springe and employee of Hytera Mobilfunk GmbH. "Especially for sending me all over the place to buy extra supplies for the sausage stall", he adds with a grin.

And that is certainly a good thing, because all of the money raised from sausage and cake sales this year will be donated to the child protection association in Springe (Kinderschutzbund), which provides support to school-age children. The Round Table members also collected further donations of money and goods from well known companies both in Springe and neighbouring town Bad Münder. Naturally, Hytera Mobilfunk GmbH also contributed to the donations.
