Hytera Showcases Convergence Communications Solution at Milipol Paris 2017
Hytera, presented visitors to Milipol Paris 2017 with a vision of convergence.
Showcasing the latest products, applications and systems including the newly-released LTE-PMR Multi-mode Advanced Radio, supported with the impressive Hytera Integrated Command and Control Centre, contacts from across the homeland security industry were able to see popular, reliable PMR technologies (DMR and TETRA) interacting with LTE capabilities to deliver a hybrid solution fit for mission critical communications and data services.
Making its debut in Europe, the Hytera Integrated Command Centre (ICC) comprises of a comprehensive call handling system, incident analysis module and visualized dispatching solution, supported by a powerful PUC platform operating as a gateway to connect multiple communication streams, from radio, to telephony and CCTV. The multi-screen solution was demonstrated in conjunction with the PMR/LTE Multi-advanced Radio terminals, with an incoming emergency call being logged, tracked with mapping and the resulting response optimized with location based dispatching and visual streams from CCTV and video media via the multi-mode advanced radio. The complete solutions offers impressive situational awareness, improved efficiency for the dispatch team and increased safety for the responders.
Hytera also showcased a series of digital two-way radio innovations. A new generation of outdoor network options were on display, including the TETRA DIB-5 outdoor station and the DMR Trunking Cube – DS6250. Both solutions are weatherproof, offering multiple deployment options, ideal to expand your critical radio networks. Another popular attraction was the new Hytera emergency communications solution. Designed to provide ad-hoc voice, data and video services the solution is comprised of three parts, the front integrated communication node (Fast-Node), the mesh node (Fast-Link) and the emergency command case (Fast-Command). The mesh network ensures it is easy to deploy and expand, pushing critical communication streams in difficult environments.
The strength of the Hytera DMR and TETRA terminal portfolio was clear to see, with visitors handling the latest devices, in particular the PD985 offering duplex DMR communications, the lightweight, covert X1p (DMR) and Z1p (TETRA) proving ever popular and the Sepura SC21 TETRA device offering public safety customers a migration option to a compact feature rich handset.
