GNConnect launches on Dutch market as new provider for business-critical communication services
The Netherlands has a new provider of business-critical applications and broadband internet for companies and governments. GNConnect has today launched on the market, saying it can provide its services in locations where existing networks cannot offer the same reliability. The firm, based in Amersfoort, is part of the same company as Dutch operator Greenet. The company explains that it uses 5G spectrum to provide its network services and that it has an own private LTE and LTE-Core Network, combined with redundant IP-transit connections at its data centres.
Greenet builds and operates LTE and other wireless networks in rural areas and other locations where existing networks are insufficient. Greenet has its own fixed and mobile central network infrastructure so that it can establish fully independent redundant networks for every application. GNConnect will build on this experience and infrastructure.
