All Things FirstNet launches new website for public safety telecommunicators
AllThingsFirstNet.com announced today a new website dedicated exclusively to public safety telecommunicators. The new site www.allthingsecc.com is designed to provide news and information relevant to those working in our nation’s emergency communications centers in one easy to access location. The goal is to make All Things ECC the one stop website for the latest news, information, product announcements, and partnerships that are directly related to emergency communications centers, telecommunicators and other professionals serving inside emergency communications centers. Over the next several months these features will grow more robust.
One key feature will be the ability for telecommunicators to share “your stories” about life saving events where they directly interacted with and contributed to saving a life with the goal to start documenting the simple fact that telecommunicators are “first responders” by creating an archive of those stories in a single place. Considerable work has been done several public safety associations at the federal level to get telecommunicators reclassified. This archive will show the world the heroic work telecommunicators do every day. Other features will include product information, resource lists and the ability for registered users to comment on stories and start discussions.
