Russia to spend RUB 27 bln on public safety and military LTE-450 network
The Russian government plans to spend RUB 26.7 billion on the deployment of the LTE-450 network for the military, law enforcement bodies and other special users, reports Cnews.ru. The network will be deployed by the national operator Rostelecom, the mobile operator Tele2 Russia and the state-owned broadcast operator RTRS. Additionally, RUB 500 million will be spent on the support of the network by end-user devices.
The federal budget provides RUB 5 billion for this project this year, RUB 8.65 billion to be spent in 2020 and RUB 13 billion in 2021.
