Atos announces the completion of the acquisition of Siemens Convergence Creators
Atos today announces the completion of the acquisition of the Siemens' subsidiary, Convergence Creators Holding GmbH (CVC), a global multi-industry digital transformation solutions provider. Atos' intent to acquire Siemens Convergence Creators was announced on October 2, 2017. Siemens Convergence Creators delivers software-based solutions in the fields of communication networks and enterprise cybersecurity. Focused on innovative R&D and turnkey solutions, CVC would accelerate Atos’ technology leap, bringing specific software and hardware IP assets notably to enlarge its cybersecurity and communication solutions. These combined offerings would strengthen Atos’ credentials and ability to deliver the latest mission-critical systems and secured networks while increasing Atos’ penetration in the Telco market and enable access to high-growth markets such as satellite and civil airplane manufacturers and operators.
For many years, CVC offers a range of TETRA communication solutions such as targeted radio coverage solutions to maintain high network availability indoors and outdoors, a TETRA dispatcher (TD) and Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) solutions that ensures efficient and effective coordination's well as telemetry solutions for efficient equipment performance monitoring.
