Rohill Leverages LEO Satellite Connectivity
Rohill has unveiled its ‘Rapid Deployment Solution’ with Starlink Satellite connection at CCW 2024. The product is a response to the “increasing need for robust communication networks during natural disasters, major incidents, and large-scale events.”
The solution leverages low Earth orbit satellites, which, according to the company, ensure “rapid and reliable network connections, essential for mission-critical operations.”
Going into greater detail, a spokesperson for the company said: “[The rapid deployment system] enables swift deployment of essential resources tailored to specific scenarios. It requires only a power source to establish a full-fledged, mission-critical broadband solution, utilising standard equipment used by first responders.
“This innovation marks a significant step forward in leveraging satellite connectivity to enhance rapid deployment capabilities, not only for emergencies but also for base station connectivity.”
The solution uses satellite connectivity from networks including Kuiper, Starlink, OneWeb, and others.
