iTrinegy develops sophisticated, yet easy-to-use, network performance technology to help organizations address networked application performance issues, de-risk application roll-outs and optimize network utilization.
iTrinegy focuses on two core areas:
1. Application Response Time Monitoring and Network Traffic Analysis
2. WAN/Network Emulation
iTrinegy Limited is a privately owned company registered in England and Wales with company number 5945193. We also operate in the Americas through iTrinegy Inc. In addition, iTrinegy sells its technology through independent partners and resellers.
History of iTrinegy
In 2002, Itheon purchased Network/Application Performance Monitoring and Network Emulation Technology which had been originally developed by a BT Brightstar spin-off, Truth Consulting and Technology. The CTO of Truth joined Itheon to head up development of this area.
The acquisition of this technology enabled Itheon to add and integrate Network/Application Performance monitoring with its existing expertise in Server/Application Availability and Performance monitoring, thus offering a more complete solution to its customers.
In order to maximize the Network/Application Monitoring and Emulation technology Itheon had acquired, and to further accelerate development, the company established Itheon Networks in 2004. This division focuses purely on Network/Application and Network Emulation Technologies with products developed to suit this marketplace.
In October 2007, Itheon was acquired by IT services group, Xploite. In February 2008 Itheon Networks changed its name to iTrinegy. It has no association with Xploite and continues to trade as an independent company.
iTrinegy's networked application performance products include:
iTrinegy Network Emulator (INE)
A range of Network Simulation products to realistically recreate a wide variety of network conditions like latency, jitter, packet loss/error/reordering and bandwidth restrictions so that you can replicate environments such as Wide Area Networks (WANs), Wireless LANs, GPRS, 3G, Satellite or MPLS networks.
