Riedel Steps Down from his Position as President and COO of Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG

Peter Riedel has decided to resign from his position as President and COO of Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG for personal reasons and leave the company effective end of July 2024. He will remain associated with Rohde & Schwarz in an advisory role.

After the departure of Peter Riedel, the Executive Board of the Munich technology company now consists of Christian Leicher as President and Chief Executive Officer and Andreas Pauly, who was appointed President and Chief Technology Officer on October 1, 2023. For the time being, Andreas Pauly will assume the tasks of Chief Operating Officer on an interim basis.

We thank him for his many decades of outstanding and successful commitment to Rohde & Schwarz and wish him lots of continued success in his career,”

says Christian Leicher, President and CEO of the Rohde & Schwarz Group.

Peter Riedel says:

I look back at my time with Rohde & Schwarz with pride and gratefulness, a time in which we advanced the company together and prepared it for the future. I wish my colleagues across the world all the best for the future.”

Peter Riedel had been on the Executive Board as Chief Operating Officer since 2014.
