Airbus signs Agnet 800 MC-PTT contract with Virve 2.0 programme to support migration to broadband Virve services
The agreement includes Tactilon Agnet 800 licenses for all Virve subscribers.
Airbus and Erillisverkot Group in Finland, Operator company of Virve public safety network, have signed an agreement to provide Tactilon Agnet 800 mission critical voice and messaging services for the Virve migration period from current TETRA technology to broadband services.
In the frame of the agreement, Airbus will provide a four-year SaaS-service for the broadband Virve Push-to-talk solution. The agreement includes Tactilon Agnet 800 licenses for all Virve subscribers.
Tactilon Agnet 800 is fully integrated into the Airbus TETRA system and broadband services. It is perfect for connecting people vital to an operation easily and securely, even when they are using different devices and technologies. In addition, Tactilon Agnet 800 can be provisioned from our Tactilon Management and supports the existing integration to Command & Control environment.

“We will start in 2022 our migration period when both Virve TETRA and Virve Broadband services will be available to our Finnish Public Safety and corporate clients. We see a lot of growth opportunities in prioritized broadband data subscriptions, but Push-to-talk will be still the most important feature of our services” explained Jarmo Vinkvist, COO Virve Network at Erillisverkot.
