Inrico Donates Radios to Communities Amid Campaigns Against COVID-19
Inrico, a leading provider of professional wireless communications solutions, donated a batch of Push-to-talk over Cellular (PoC) radios to communities of Luohu district, Shenzhen, where it is headquartered.
The radios were donated in order to facilitate citywide nucleic acid tests from March 14th to 20th. In its latest move to curb the spread of COVID-19 virus, Shenzhen conducted three rounds of tests for all its residents during the week.
It was a daunting task to have three tests for 17.6 million residents within one week. Group communications among onsite medical staff and volunteers were essential for efficiency and order. After learning the need from local communities in Luohu, Inrico took the initiative to donate a batch of PoC radios T700 and other necessities.
These PoC radios were deployed and used by the COVID-19 Prevention and Control Office. PoC radios offered convenient push-to-talk for group calls anywhere across the city via local cellular networks. T700 PoC radios enabled instant voice calls across staff and volunteers. For staff who used smart phones to scan code and check IDs, Inrico push-to-talk APP also enabled them to join the group calls. Inrico dispatch management platform ensured that information was passed and shared seamlessly, making communication among front-line epidemic prevention personnel more convenient and ensuring emergency command and control in emergencies.
"Since this latest wave of Omicron outbreak in Shenzhen, the anti-epidemic forces have always adhered to the frontline of epidemic prevention, especially during community quarantine. They built a line of defense for the safety of people's lives. Inrico takes on our responsibility and do what we can to support them and the communities,” said Jack, General Manager of Inrico.
