Softil Claims Five Global Deployments of Softil Mission Critical Communications (MCX) Technology

As the critical communications industry changes, Softil is setting the standard for MCX deployments globally. It is the only MCX technology provider with actual deployment experience in five active MCX production networks that use various MCX servers from various vendors.
Critical communications users, including public safety, first responders, utility, and transportation workers, can now take advantage of advanced communication features like HD video, location sharing, instant messaging, file sharing, and high-quality, legible voice. These features are all based on the open, global standards of 3GPP MCX (Mission Critical Communications), which are deployed over widely used mobile broadband LTE and 5G networks. This is made possible by Softil's BEEHD enabling technology.

MCX Networks Currently in Use:
South Korea: Hoimyung Corporation and Softil implemented MCX for the first time on the KoRail network. Hoimyung created a train communication terminal using Softil's BEEHD MCX framework to be used on trains servicing the new high-speed rail line that connected Incheon airport with the Olympic site in February 2018, just in time for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in South Korea.
Over 125 million people are thought to ride these 250 km/h high-speed trains annually. RF-Comm, Daeyoun, and several more manufacturers built their MCX train communications solutions on top of the BEEHD MCX architecture, carrying on the success of MCX railway communications.
Safe-Net: Softil's customers, including Hanswell and several others, guarantee that first responders have access to the best-of-breed MCX communication solutions for South Korea's MCX public safety broadband network (PSBN), which is used by police, firefighters, emergency medical services, coast guards, and others.
United States: Several Softil partners have already deployed MCX in the southern states of the US, where Southern Linc, a service provider, offers the Critical Linc MCPTT service. A versatile and easy-to-use MCPTT vehicle mounted communication terminal is offered by AdvanceTec Industries. Next up is Catalyst Communications Technologies, a firm supporter of MCX and one of Softil's original MCX clients. First responders utilizing Southern Linc MCX service can access IntelliLink LMR/MCX interworking gateways and MCX dispatch consoles through Catalyst Communications Technologies. With its XL-200 range of hybrid radios, L3Harris is another firm that is entirely focused on the MCX market. First responders can utilize these highly innovative, fully ruggedized devices, which handle both P25 direct mode and MCX when the network is accessible.
The products of Catalyst Communications are also fully implemented at FirstNet, a significant US PSBN provided by AT&T. This is the fourth operational MCX network that uses Softil technology. Offering first responders access to all cutting-edge MCX capabilities, AT&T FirstNet has a significant presence in all 50 US states. With confidence, Softil anticipates that in the near future, a number of new partners and clients will supply their products to FirstNet users.
Returning to APAC, Softil's technology enables its partners to deliver next-generation MCX-based LTE and 5G train communications solutions - "MCX for Rail" (which is the basis of the future FRMCS led by UIC for Europe), demanded for high-speed and metro-line deployments. India is home to the fifth MCX network in production.
Beyond these five networks, there are several deployments and pre-deployments in Australia, Canada, and other nations, as well as the UK's Home Office ESN project, which involves numerous vendors utilizing Softil's BEEHD MCX Framework.
