The state of Hesse uses the TETRA pager P8GR from Airbus for its more than 70,000 volunteer and full-time emergency workers. This allows bidirectional data transmission between the alarm control centers and the emergency workers in the BOS digital radio and supports both individually and group-addressed messages. In addition to the alarm message and the status message, short messages can be received with the P8GR.
