Users of Mobile Torrnado’s PTX application can now access push-to-talk and trigger the SOS alert feature with a simple push of a discreet smart button, rather than via the device itself.

The wireless Flic button can be discreetly attached to a range of surfaces, including uniforms, clothing, vehicle dashboards and steering wheels. It can also be worn like a watch using the Flic wristband. This makes it ideal for users who want or need to operate discreetly and for users who cannot readily access their device due to safety regulations, environmental conditions, or the nature of the work itself.

The Flic button is in demand across a range of industry sectors where efficiency, instant communication and safety are priorities. This includes healthcare, retail, security, construction, logistic and transportation.

In the event of an emergency, the ability for remote workers to quickly access the push-to-talk feature or activate the SOS alert, can be a matter of life or death. However, in some circumstances, their PTX device may not be immediately available, or, for more covert operations, users may be required to keep their device concealed.

This is where the Flic button becomes invaluable. By simply pressing the Flic button, users can either instantly activate an SOS alert and share their location to enable assistance to be sent quickly or activate their push-to-talk feature to enable seamless, instant communication.
