Europoltech 2011 successfully started - Warsaw, Poland
International fair of Technology and Equipment for the Police and National Security
EUROPOLTECH 2011, the International Fair of Technology and Equipment for the Police and National Security Services in Warsaw, Poland is ongoing (13-15.04.2011). The Fair will accompany the 5th International Police Conference, to which the executive staff of European police services is(are) invited. EUROPOLTECH is organised in close partnership with the General Headquarters of the Polish Police; the Fair’s mission is to support technological upgrade processes in the Polish Police services, Special Operations Command and national security services. Europoltech 2011 will also address the supply of equipment and auxiliary technologies for tasks related to Poland’s EU Presidency and holding of EURO 2012.
The scope of the EUROPOLTECH 2011 Fair reflects the current and prospective needs of the police and national security services in Poland. The range of topics has been established in partnership with the Police, the Border Guard, the Government Protection Bureau (BOR), the Internal Security Agency (ABW), the Foreign Intelligence Agency (AW), the State Fire Service, the Military Police, Special Operations Command, Customs Service and Prison Service. Thematic scope covers: Crime detection technology, Information and telecommunication technologies (ICT), Border protection equipment, Communications equipment and others.
The TETRA industry is represented by companies like: Cassidian, Sepura, Rohill (Aksel partner in Poland), Savox Communications, TETRASim, Radmor (Cassidian), Hytera, (EPA Srt.) Motorola is represented by its strategic partners such as: Consortia, Aksel, MAW Telecom. There are live TETRA system presentations available from Rohill TetraNode (Aksel) and Compact TETRA (Cassidian).
