iBwave Design 5.3 adds support for R&S®ROMES
R&S®ROMES4 is a test platform for measurements in all mobile radio networks including TETRA
Rohde & Schwarz has partnered with iBwave to
enable data from the R&S®ROMES4 drive test software to be processed
directly in iBwave Design 5.3, greatly easing wireless network
installation, operation and 'before and after' tests for users.
Mobile phones need to work just as well inside buildings as they do
outdoors. However, providing stable connections indoors calls for a
specially designed in-house architecture. The market-leading software
for creating such networks is iBwave Design from iBwave. The current
release, version 5.3, now includes support for test data log files
captured during walk tests with R&S®ROMES4
R&S®ROMES4 enables users to view indoor maps of building floor
plans and carry out on-site measurements. The test data collected during
these measurements can now be used seamlessly in iBwave Design to plan
an indoor wireless infrastructure. Users no longer need to export the
data manually from one application and import it into the other. They
can now also compare actual test data with a computer model.
The partnership between Rohde & Schwarz and iBwave and the compatibility between the companies’ two systems greatly benefits users involved in wireless network installation, operation and ’before and after’ testing.
