Consortia implemented TETRA system for the Mine Station.
The system will be in operation included with several hundred Motorola digital TETRA radios
The Company Consortia announced the construction project for a digital TETRA communications system for PGE Belchatow Lignite Mine. The entire project included the preparation of the concept of the system, together with its design, delivery, configuration and commissioning.
The plant in Belchatow is the undisputed leader among Polish coal mines. It is the largest open pit mine in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. Size of deposits and place it achieved production of Europe's largest suppliers of raw energy. The new TETRA digital communications solution implemented by Consortia helps in achieving greater efficiency, saving time and reducing operating costs.
The TETRA system consists of several zones interconnected by fiber optic lines and radio links. Each zone contains two TETRA base stations (operating two carrier frequencies.) The system will be in operation included with several hundred Motorola digital TETRA radios such as the MTP850, CEP 400 and MTM5400.
The ICT backbone network coupling each zone system was built based on Cisco routers using multicast routing. The system provided feedback TETRA system with the PBX, which allows subscribers to digital TETRA implementation of eight calls at a time. The registration of all correspondence and telephone and radio recording system events central server is responsible registrants.
