The implementation of a new countrywide digital TETRA network for voice and data in Flanders and the Netherlands is on schedule. Making investments in times of crisis, Entropia's doing it.
Entropia, KPN and Motorola are currently undertaking the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in Berlin. This test is meant for the extensive testing of the new TETRA network prior to it physically being implemented. In this all the base stations are placed next to each other in-house at Motorola in a neat and orderely fashion which simulates the future network. Once this test has been concluded successfully the base stations will be shipped and integrated countrywide.
According to Philip Vercruysse, the CEO at Entropia Digital, the 200 Tetra masts designated for countrywide coverage and dual highly redundant IP Tetra switches, will be available shortly.
