At Damm we are very excited about this technology partnership with Sepura for the North American LMR market,” said Per Skovsund, director of Damm’s Systems Business.

DAMM is together with Sepura announcing the launch of a complete TETRA product offering aimed to address the North American market. This move enables customers in the US and Canada to source a complete TETRA solution, from robust, reliable terminals and infrastructure through to efficiency enhancing applications.

Sepura is releasing the STP9000 series of hand-portables and the SRG3900 mobile radios in 800MHz and is partnering with DAMM Cellular for infrastructure in an exclusive agreement for the North American market.

Per Skovsund, Director of Systems Business at DAMM: “At DAMM we are very excited about this technology partnership with Sepura for the North American LMR market. This agreement brings together the unique requirements of the fast growing TETRA market in US and Canada and combines the strengths of two of the TETRA industry’s strongest product portfolios and brands. We are confident of the success of this partnership as it delivers a very targeted and unique offering to all professional users of radio communications in the region.”

Steve Cragg, President of Sepura LLC commented on this announcement: “With this strengthened 800MHz offering, Sepura demonstrates its commitment to provide solutions for the ever-increasing community of TETRA users in the North American market.  Support in the 800MHz frequency band is a crucial step in Sepura’s ongoing market development.  Earlier this year, we made a very successful entry into this market with the delivery of a complete TETRA solution to Toronto Transit Commission (the third largest public transport system in North America).  Critical communications organisations in North America are now able to take advantage of Sepura’s highly flexible and cost effective TETRA portfolio”.
