ISITEP approach has potential to make vital impact on PPDR communications
ISITEP leaders met in Florence on the 26th November 2015 to assess the project progress state.
The positive feedback coming from the review confirms the good work performed during the second period, in line with the expectations, even if some correctional actions are necessary to improve the project implementation in the third year.
ISITEP main technical achievements in the second year are the release of the TETRA-TETRA, TETRA-TETRAPOL and TETRAPOL-TETRAPOL gateway prototypes, the design of the enhanced terminal, the open public functional specifications of the infrastructure dimensioning tool and training tool.
In the opinion of reviewers “the ISITEP approach has the potential to make vital impact on the technical and tactical level with potential economic benefits too.”
