Dutch Police issues Tender for 46 Thousand TETRA radios
Today, the Dutch police have issued a tender for the purchase of forty-six thousand TETRA radio’s that will be used on the C2000 Public Safety network.
The tender requests for 36,000 portable radios and 10,000 mobile radios and is divided into six lots. Because of the division into six separate lots, there will be enough possibilities for a variety of selected suppliers to take part in the delivery of TETRA equipment.
The framework contract will become into effect on the 1st June 2016. Companies that are part of the framework contract shall enroll in each of the six lots that are issued between 2016 and 2017.
There will be three batches for the delivery of 12,000 portable radios per batch. At the end of this year the tender requests for the deliveryof one batch of 10,000 mobile radio’s, included with accessories.
The tender document states that suppliers should be able to supply mobile radios, portable radios, educational services, accessories, management services and repair services and closes on the 8th of April 2016.
